Granting: Timing

The Spirit of St. Louis Women's Fund uses a structured, annual grant review process. All prospective applicants must complete each step in the process. All organizations must register on the SOS website before submitting a Letter of Inquiry. Before registering your organization, please review the guidelines on the SOS website .

Once you have determined that your organization meets these standards, click here to register your organization.

All letters of interest and grant applications must be submitted through our web site organization process as outlined above. If you need assistance, please contact Elaine Queathem.

Timing for 2009 - 2010 grant evaluation and funding is set forth below:

* September 15-October 31 - Letters Expressing an Interest in receiving an invitation to submit a full grant application. Postmark or email receipt deadline: October 31

* Early December 2009- Organizations selected to submit a full grant application will be notified in early December 2009.

* December 31st- Completed Grant Applications are due. Email deadline: December 31st

* January through April – Grant review and organization site visits conducted

* May 26th - Applicants will be notified regarding grant decisions

* June 3rd – Grant distributions begin according to the specifics of each grant.
