Granting: Timing

The Spirit of St. Louis Women's Fund uses a structured, annual grant review process. All prospective applicants must complete each step in the process. All organizations must register on the SOS website before submitting a Letter of Inquiry. Before registering your organization, please review the guidelines on the SOS website .

Once you have determined that your organization meets these standards, click here to register your organization.

All letters of inquiry and grant applications must be submitted through our web site organization process as outlined above. If you need assistance, please contact Laura Friedman or Linda Grayson

Timing for 2011-2012 grant evaluation and funding is set forth below:

* August 26 - Oct 14, 2011 - Letters Expressing an Interest in receiving an invitation to submit a full grant application. Postmark or email receipt deadline: Oct 14.

* November 21, 2011 - Organizations selected to submit a full grant application will be notified in late November 2011.

* January 13, 2012 - Completed Proposals are due.

* January 23 - April 5, 2012 – Grant review and organization site visits conducted.

* May 18, 2012 - Applicants will be notified regarding grant decisions

* Second week in June 2012 – Grant distributions begin according to the specifics of each grant.
